The real problem with health and prevention…

The #1 barrier to Healthspan is the intention-action gap. We all have access to gigabytes of health information, podcasts, recipes, exercise plans, labs, scans, and advice, yet we can’t translate this into action.

Engagement is low. At three months, abandonment rates of digital health products hover around 75%. The real problem is that most of us know how to get healthy.

It’s just difficult to execute. This is the intention-action gap. Why? We’re overwhelmed, tired, confused, busy, distracted, anxious, fear failure, multitasking, taking care of everyone else first, and scared to ask for help. The list goes on.

The chronic disease crisis isn’t primarily due to a lack of access to information, doctors, or medications. It’s due to a lack of resources that employ personalized coaching and behavior science to empower people to take action. We must start providing persuasion and coaching instead of just education, health tracking, and data.
